Albert Wenger, a managing partner at Union Square Ventures (USV), one of the top returning venture capital funds in the world, talks with Bits & Pretzels’ Britta Weddeling about the state of the European startup ecosystem, the challenging influence of big tech on innovation and how regulators could push for more entrepreneurship.
USV manages assets totaling $1 billion. With his New York based fund, Wenger who is originally from a small town close to Nuremberg, Bavaria, invested in several European & US startups, such as Twilio, Etsy, Firebase, Behance, and MongoDB.
