About the Role: Have you ever had a big idea that you have tried and tested (successfully I might add), and had to wait 6 months to get it approved or implemented on the website and then forgotten all about it by the time it was live? At Candis, we can get your vision live fast (like, super fast!!) So you can spend your extra time making the next best iteration!! By joining our Demand Capture team as a Senior Web Designer, you will have co-ownership and creative freedom to take the website to where you want and test any big ideas you may have - we LOVE experiments! And if that wasn't enough to get you excited, we are about to roll out our rebranding, and you will be instrumental on how that comes to life on our website, with your very own dedicated Marketing Developer - bringing your visions to life! You will have a huge impact on our company's success story and contribute to taking our landing pages, conversion rates and funnel to the next level! Not only will you be designing a beautiful, usable and accessible website, you will also focus on bounce rate, conversion and time on page, knowing that design can play a huge part in these metrics. About you: You are creative, self-driven and thrive in environments where you won’t be told what your next task is - you create it yourself! You have an amazing eye for detail, and owning a huge part of the business and strategy does not scare you. You have an understanding that sometimes in design ideas don’t work out as planned, and that’s ok, it’s about what we learn and how we move on. Here is what equips you best for this role: You have strong communication skills in both German and English to be able to conduct user interviews (with our mostly German customers), and collaborate with your English-speaking colleagues. Having extensive experience in Responsive Web Design will be a must, as our users access our website from a number of devices. You have User Experience in Marketing. You know how to plan and conduct user research and rapid prototyping. You are no stranger to bounce rate, conversion rates and user flows and have an understanding of how design can help these metrics. Our go-to design tool is Figma, so experience here would be ideal! And knowledge of rapid prototyping tools such as Framer, Protopie, UX Pin would be great for sharing and testing before implementing. Nice to Have: Experience with owning a component library (React Native) You will be working closely with our Marketing Developer, so being able to speak technically would be great for collaborating. B2B Search (bounce, conversion, flows) experience (eg. google ads) - maybe you have insights on how we can optimise B2B demand capturing. We have a modern tech set-up in Contentful and Next.js, so any knowledge here can help you. We are big on research here at CANDIS, and if you have the ability to analyse and utilize quantitative data, that could really set you up for success.
